In addition to downtown attractions, a short drive away, visitors can take in the rich and timeless tradition of Churchill Downs, the World's Most Legendary RacetrackTM, or delve into racing history at the Kentucky Derby Museum. Nearby, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom (open April through October) offers thrills and chills including Chang - the world's longest, tallest, fastest standup roller coaster! Visitors will enjoy seeing some of the longest, tallest, fastest animals at the Louisville Zoo - home to lions, tigers, and bears as well as the Gorilla Forest.
